From April 13th to April 23rd, Westdale Secondary will be the site for the screening of 7 award winning environmental documentaries. This is part of 3rd annual Eco Film and Arts Festival, a celebration centred around Earth Week by Hamilton area arts and environmental communities.

Fully transferrable festival passes are now on sale. Adult passes are only $50; student passes are only $25. We are especially excited to announce that schools may apply to have $20 per student pass returned to them for use in environmental or social justice projects.

The film festival builds on the successful format of the recent "The Age of Stupid" screening at Westdale, with open-mic question and answers following the films. We are especially excited to have directors from two films attending. Acclaimed Canadian film "Waterlife" will be our first feature with director Kevin McMahon in attendance. Oscar-nominated movie, "The Cove" will be our special Earth Day feature; expedition Director Simon Hutchins will be coming from Florida to be part of this event.
