STATELESS THINGS (줄탁동시)
A North Korean migrant worker and young gay man are trapped by their social status, both physically and psychologically in the heartless megacity of Seoul in this dark and dreamy film by internationally acclaimed indie director Kim Kyung-mook.
Director Kim Kyung-Mook will hold an artist talk on Thursday, Nov 8 (11:00 AM-12:00 PM) as part of Reel Asian's 7th annual Industry Series. The talk is free and open to the public and will take place at our Industry Series Hub, No One Writes To The Colonel (460 College St). Moderated by Jon Davies, Curator (Oakville Galleries).
Director Kim will also participate in the Queer Film panel on Friday, Nov 9 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM). The panel is open to Industry Series Pass and Festival Pass holders only and will be hosted by the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at University College, Rm 179 (15 Kings College Circle, University of Toronto).
