Crystal Kid spent April in Los Angeles, California, recording with Grammy and Juno award winning producer Brandon Friesen at Matt Sorum's recording studio, yes, Matt Sorum from Guns N Roses and Velvet Revolver.

Frank and Charles Torrealba, a.k.a. Crystal Kid, are greatly influenced by the time they’ve spent on the move between Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and Canada.

Influenced by pop-giants like U2 and Oasis, its still that personal experience that drives the vibrant, uptempo rhythms that define Crystal Kid. Rhythms that the Canadian music scene has taken notice of and have given Crystal Kid the opportunity to play with great artists like Seether, My Darkest Days, Daniel Wesley, Rival Sons, as well as performances at Calgary’s Sled Island Music Festival, Boonstock 2011 and Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
