New Jersey native Jim Norton is best known for his unique point of view and outspoken humor.
He is a New York Times best-selling author, radio personality and television host. Jim is a
part of the successful Opie & Anthony Radio Show on Sirius/XM Radio, which has millions
of devoted fans waking up to them every morning. When Jim is not on the air, he’s a regular
correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, reporting from such places as the
Kentucky Derby, the Espy’s, Fashion Week and the Grammys, as well as other interesting
locations across the country. Jim is also a frequent contributor to the late night talk show circuit
with credits including The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Fox Red Eye,
Hannity, Joy Behar, and others. Jim’s new comedy special entitled “Please Be Offended” airs
on EPIX in Summer 2012.
Jim’s first book, HAPPY ENDINGS: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch was published in
July 2007. It spent several weeks on the bestseller list. This New York Times best-seller is a
collection of Jim’s personal journal entries, raunchy sex stories, embarrassing star sightings,
and pathetic childhood memories. Jim’s second book, I Hate Your Guts, also became a New
York Times best-seller upon its release in November 2008.
Jim has hosted HBO’s Down and Dirty with Jim Norton as well as had a one-hour HBO stand-
up show entitled Monster Rain and a half-hour special on HBO’s One Night Stand. He also
starred in HBO’s Lucky Louie with Louis C.K., as well as in Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd
with Colin Quinn, and appeared on HBO’s Bored to Death and FX’s Louie. He has also
participated in roasts of Bob Saget, Gene Simmons, Zakk Wylde and Pat Cooper. In addition,
Jim has been seen in Spider-Man, Zack & Miri Make a Porno and Cop Out.
In addition to radio, books, TV and touring, Jim has three stand-up comedy CD’s: Yellow
Discipline, Trinkets I Own Made From Gorilla Hands and his most recent release entitled
Despicable, which in 2011 debuted at #2 on the Billboard comedy charts.
