Most acclaimed for Latin-jazz playing & compositional brilliance amongst his singularly diverse range, Trinidadian-Canadian trumpet icon Nick "Brownman" Ali demonstrates his strong roots in Brazilian jazz as well; the great Claudio Roditi being one of his mentors.

This three-part series will witness NOW Magazine's 2005 Jazz Artist of the Year playing exclusively flugelhorn and teaming up as musical director with three of Canada's most acclaimed world-jazz vocal divas – leading three all-star ensembles comprised of the country's pre-eminent players.
