Winnipeg is a special place, and this show is a great example:
A concert, for The West End Cultural Centre, at The Park Theatre, presented by both The Park Theatre and Wits End, with 10+ artists volunteering performances. That’s two other Winnipeg concert presenters, and a ton of local talent, all cooperating to help out The West End Cultural Centre. The WECC found itself in a tough spot recently, and this concert is one of the many acts of generosity the organization has received. The WECC community is truly moved by this kindness.
The West End Cultural Centre is and has always been a non-profit and registered charity. Community support like this goes a long way towards keeping the lights and the future bright. Wits End is a Winnipeg concert series hosted by two community-minded art-loving people, and The Park Theatre is a pillar of the Winnipeg arts scene.
