The film follows Rome, an aspiring rapper with all the talent but plagued by insecurity, who sets out on a mission to get his album into the hands of Grammy-winning producer Richie Hill. Disaster strikes when his laptop—and the only copy of his album—gets stolen. With the help of his activist-artist friend Jenaya, Rome embarks on a frantic quest across Toronto to track down his producers and recover his music. As they race against time, Rome grapples with self-doubt, while Jenaya challenges his need for industry approval.
