Death From Above 1979 are a powerhouse two-piece from Toronto known for their explosive mix of bass, drums, and raw energy. Formed by Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger, the band built a cult following with their debut album You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine, delivering a massive sound that hits like a full band despite being just two members.

Blending elements of dance-punk, noise rock, and indie electro, their live shows are loud, high-energy, and unforgettable. After reuniting in 2011, they’ve continued to release new music and tour globally, proving their signature sound still hits just as hard.
