Externa Digital is a night curated by local vocalist and producer Ivy Hollivana, highlighting electronic subcultures that are often overlooked in Vancouver. With a focus on merging multiple communities, Externa Digital hopes to also fuse URL and IRL with its curated showcase of electronic musicians.
On September 20th, Externa Digital features Lauren Bousfield, the acclaimed experimental composer and producer behind the cult project Nero’s Day at Disneyland. Known for her explosive, emotionally charged sound that fuses live vocals, breakcore, classical, and avant-garde electronics, Bousfield has carved out a singular place in underground music, delivering performances that are both chaotic and deeply cathartic.
