Hippo Campus’ trajectory continues to steadily ascend, playing to over-capacity crowds of enraptured fans at Bonnaroo & Lollapalooza as well as headlining the Minnesota State Fair in their hometown. Today, in addition to a slew of new tour dates spanning into 2018, the band has surprise dropped the brand new warm glow EP which features fan favorite “baseball”! Partially crafted during the landmarkalbum sessions, Hippo Campus recently returned to the songs, this time also taking on production responsibilities them with landmark album producer BJ Burton at the mixing board. Available on digital DSPs only today, the physical 12" version of EP as well as a landmark + warm glow deluxe package will be physically available on November 10 vla Grand Jury Music.

Guitarist/vocalist Nathan Stocker explains, “We had wanted to start writing and recording again after tour and these songs were staring us in the face ever since our first wave writing sessions for landmark.So we went to Pachyderm studios this summer to get ‘em down within a live setting, which was a return to the process of our first two EP's. There were many blueprints (demos on demos) for “baseball," having gone through a rigorous audition process for landmark, and "warm glow” was, at one time, going to be the closing track of the album. It’d be a lie to say we had this EP figured out from the beginning, but plans are overrated anyhow.”

Sure Sure is an experimental pop band from Los Angeles, California. The highly collaborative group, composed of Chris Beachy (keyboardist, singer), Charlie Glick (guitarist, singer), Kevin Farzad (drums, percussion) and Michael Coleman (producer), has been releasing music since 2014. Perched on a hill in Highland Park, they've converted their house into a studio -- a myriad of instruments positioned throughout the first floor, with cables snaking up the walls to the recording console upstairs. Sure Sure's recordings and infectious live show have quickly solidified them as one of the most exciting up and coming bands in LA. Their sound is characterized by a glowing warmth, ear-worm melodies, and driving rhythms, like if the Talking Heads, Tame Impala and Steely Dan raised their love child together under the California sun. Ever since their 2016 single "New Biome" caught fire on Spotify, the band has been garnering a rapidly expanding audience. In the summer of 2017 they began a new release cycle, putting out the heartbreak-pop tune "Friends," dance-tastic "Hands Up Head Down" and others, reaching #1 on the Hype Machine charts and gaining praise from Grizzly Bear, Rostam of Vampire Weekend and other staples in the indie music community.
