Hiroki Tanaka is a Toronto-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, and writer. Formerly lead guitarist of Juno/Polaris-nominated band, YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN, he has embarked on a solo career that infuses elements of his Japanese-Canadian heritage with lyrical, high-concept art rock. Tanaka’s genre-hopping sound has been compared to David Bowie, Saya Gray, Animal Collective and Mr. Bungle.

cutsleeve is a queer East/South East Asian band brought together to explore the complexities of their identities and repurpose rock music for their own healing and expression. It is only through the band that they have created a safer space to explore music as a creative outlet. They released their debut EP ‘the parts we could not abandon’ in 2020, which was featured on CBC, Exclaim! and DOMINIONATED.

Jo Passed is the songwriting project of Jo Hirabayashi, a musician based in Toronto and Vancouver. The project released two EPs, Up and Out, before signing with Sub Pop and Royal Mountain and releasing the album Their Prime in 2018. Jo Passed returned in 2025 with the digital single Weekend; a sophomore album is expected to follow soon.
