  • Cole Malone

    Cole Malone

    Country

The guy next door, with a deep rich voice, and a love of country - Originally from small-town Ontario, Cole now roams the prairies of Alberta, bringing an edgy country rock sound to all types of stages, from small bush parties to the major festivals.
Winner of the top prize in the Rising Star contest for 96.5 CKFM Radio, and Calgary Stampede’s Nashville North Star competition in 2015, Cole’s career sprung quickly, giving him the opportunity to perform at both the Somewhere In Alberta Showcase and Royalty Records Showcase at Canadian Country Music Week (CCMA). His first single, “Half The Bottle” (2016), became an Alberta radio favorite and landed Cole an Alberta Country Music Association (ACMA) nomination for Artist of the Year, and Fan’s Choice. This fueled various performances alongside notable artists such as The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Julian Austin, One More Girl and many more.
He lives by a simple approach, “Write music, sing your heart out and give 110% in everything you do.” This translates through his genuine personality and performance style.
After a small break to start a family, he is back to take 2018 by storm. With multiple singles lined up, including “Next To Me” coming April 6, in preparation for his debut album coming in fall 2018, along with bookings across Canada at major festivals, including CMW & Boots and Hearts, the name Cole Malone will continue to be heard more and more throughout the industry and in homes all over Canada.

    The Commoners

    Rock

With blazing leads, soulful harmonies, indelible melodies, and driving, powerful rhythms, the Commoners are anything but your typical Toronto rock quartet, and they’re setting out to prove it. The Commoners are a rock and roll workhorse, exemplified by their debut LP No Stranger, funded by FACTOR. Released in August of 2016, the eight-track record dropped along a sold out show at Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern. Months after its release, No Stranger continues to succeed, hitting number one on the Spotify “Rock Your Block” playlist, the album’s lead single “Walkin’ South” garnering 60k spins in its first month, charting top 50 for 4 weeks on the Canadian Active Rock Charts and hitting number two on Alan Cross’s Top 11 playlist.

Their journey began in 2009 when singer and rhythm guitarist Chris Medhurst met up with lead guitarist Ross Hayes Citrullo. Solidified by Chris’s folk-inspired songwriting and the edge of Ross’s commanding, heavy leads, the two quickly bonded, finding unity in their individual styles and meeting at the junction of roots rock and alternative pop. In 2013, the two joined forces with bassist and keyboardist Ben Spiller and Geoff Bruce, a Humber College Jazz percussionist, and from the newly formed four-piece came the Commoners. It was then that their sound truly began to come into itself.

Drawing inspiration from the soft blues of artists like John Mayer and riff-rich classic rockers like Led Zeppelin and the Black Crowes, the Commoners distinguish themselves with tight instrumentation, mesmerizing energy, and undeniably infectious songwriting. All of these elements combine across the Commoners’ discography, starting first on their 2015 EP Streetlights and onto No Stranger.

Along with the “Walkin’ South” music video and a featured spot in the Winnipeg BBQ & Blues Festival, The Commoners continue to charge forward with a humble confidence, true to their name. They are currently writing and recording their followup full length record 'Highway Lines' with a release in Fall 2018.

Keep your eyes on the Commoners and experience one of the most exciting up-and-coming rock bands for yourself.

  • Jim Dan Dee

    Jim Dan Dee

    Blues

Affectionately known as ‘JDD’ to their fans, Jim Dan Dee continues to ride the wave created by their ferociously-sexy Blues-based sound.  Since the release of the gritty EP ‘Five Stiff Shots’ in 2015, JDD has been garnering so much attention in the Toronto music scene that they’ve been invited to share stages with bands ‘Monster Truck’, ‘Big Wreck’ and ‘The Sheepdogs’.  The showmanship and musicality of their live show is an electrifying experience not to be missed.  This Indie powerhouse has already been showcased in NXNE, CMW, Indie Week and many other major Canadian music festivals to a great reception.  Front-man Jim sings and guitar-slings with an intensity that has been described as resembling “demonic possession”.  The crack of the drums creates a fat backbeat under a cloud of Hammond organ and silky saxophone, in perfect contrast to the band’s fiercely entertaining energy on stage.  With the release of their slick new video and single ‘The Silence’ (Produced by The Tea Party’s Jeff Martin) JDD’s sound has been refined but not restrained.  True to their roots yet completely unique, Jim Dan Dee is set to make history with their self-styled “Bourbon Fueled Funkabilly Grunge Blues”

  • The Road Wolves

    The Road Wolves

    Hard Rock

RoadWolves are a professional 4 piece hard rock n' roll band from Stratford, Ontario who have opened for notable acts including Honeymoon Suite, Tracii Guns (LA Guns), ex- Guns N Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, Riot, Michale Graves (The Misfits), Uli Jon Roth (The Scorpions) as well as many more at venues and festivals across Ontario and Quebec.

In 2016 we opened the TD Main Stage (as Chemical Burn) in Burlington at the Sound of Music Festival for The Cult, The Headstones, The Glorious Sons, Pop Evil, The Watchmen and Silverstein.

The savage reputation of the wolf is reflected in the members of the RoadWolves. The elusive, phantasmal, pack predators pack a punch with every performance, tearing apart your senses with honed efficiency.
