Le Couleur churns out electro-tropical synth-pop with a sensual twist, combining hints of sunshine with the musicality of words. In 2013, Le Couleur signs to Lisbon Lux Records, a record label known for discovering new talent (Paupière, Radiant Baby, Das Mörtal, Fonkynson...).
The Voyage Love EP, launched them on the international indie-pop scene. The record, mixed in New York by MGMT collaborators French Horn Rebellion ended up on many end-of-year lists of best EPs.It becomes the band's calling card, especially because of "Femme", a hit that garnered nearly 4 million views on YouTube and nearly 850,000 plays on Spotify.
In Fall 2016, they release P.O.P.(Pacific Ocean Park),a chic, electronic and voluptuous synth-pop album, mixed in Los Angeles by DFA Records sound engineer Eric Broucek, earning a spot on the 2017 Polaris Prize long list, and a nomination for "Pop Album of the Year" at the 2017 GAMIQ awards.A solid live set that never lets up has allowed Le Couleur to perform on the stages of Quebec's great musical events (FrancoFolies, Osheaga, Festival d’Été de Québec, FME,M for Montréal), as well as in Europe (they caused a sensation at the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourgesin France), in the United States and English Canada.
