To the Bright Future is a night of homegrown, heartfelt music from three of Winnipeg’s most promising singer-songwriters — each bringing their own stories of growth, self-discovery, and connection.

Melody Pearson-Munroe
Through introspective folk-inspired songs, Melody explores the beauty in imperfection and the process of learning who we are. Her music blends poetic lyricism and emotional honesty, drawing influence from Tom Waits, Adrianne Lenker, and Joni Mitchell. A past performer at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Melody recently released her debut single, “Little Steps.”

Jamie Stark
An emerging Winnipeg artist blending folk, soul, and acoustic warmth. Jamie’s songs explore love, loss, and introspection — weaving timeless melodies shaped by influences like Nick Drake, Labi Siffre, and Daniel Caesar.

Parker Beesley
A 20-year-old singer/songwriter and jazz guitarist whose emotional storytelling draws from blues and folk traditions. Influenced by Joni Mitchell, The Bros. Landreth, Paul Simon, and Lizzy McAlpine, Parker’s original work is honest, intimate, and deeply personal.
