Under her leadership, the festival has grown into a highly anticipated event, attracting talent from all over the globe. Through her work, Vesper has been instrumental in helping shape Nelson’s vibrant and diverse burlesque scene, fostering inclusivity and nurturing artistic expression. In addition to her festival work, Vesper is the headmistress of the Kootenay Burlesque Academy, Nelson’s first school dedicated to burlesque, where she empowers students to discover their voice through dance and performance.
