"Afroto" is an Egyptian rapper and songwriter from the coastal city of Alexandria. One of the leading rappers in the Middle East, he's seen his following skyrocket and become a superstar whose songs have garnered over 300 million streams and views across platforms. Afroto started beatboxing at a very young age and quickly broke into Egypt's highly competitive music scene. His collaborations with some of the Arab world's top artists have cemented him as a global rap sensation. His very first North American tour will bring him to Vancouver's iconic Fortune Sound Club on October 18th.
