ALLIES IN ACTION: REDUCING HARM AND CREATING INCLUSIVE SPACES PRESENTED BY MUSIC CANADA AND FACTOR, THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA AND CANADA’S PRIVATE RADIO BROADCASTERS
Artscape Daniels Launchpad Sugar Hall (4th Floor)
Doors: 10:30AM | Event: 11:00 AM
This Allies In Action event will continue the conversation on how we can all play a role in making events and work spaces inclusive and free of harassment. During the pandemic, initiatives designed to reduce harm and create change have not been made a priority as we have been dealing with pandemic restrictions, notably canceling all in-person events.. As we are now able to gather once again, there is a need for everyone to reconsider initiatives that encourage the reduction of harm and increase inclusivity by talking about shared experiences in performance based industries, and the real tools, programs and policies that those in the music ecosystem have used to to create positive and lasting change.
