My Friend The Skeleton - MFTS  Originating in the small town of Orono, ON, My Friend The Skeleton was a duo that quickly matured into a six piece ensemble that brings a modern and distinctive sound to the music scene. Formed in 2019 by Steve Parker and Wade Woodward, the group quickly bonded over shared influences ranging from New Found Glory to Elvis to Post Malone, crafting a sound that’s both familiar and innovative. Known for their unique covers of old / modern classics and lively performances, My Friend The Skeleton delivers a seamless blend of pop and rock with harmonizing vocals and the brilliant sound of fiddle providing the country glue.  While performing cover songs by artists such as: Frankie Valli, John Denver, Post Malone, CCR, Noah Kahan and Kings Of Leon, My Friend The Skeleton have gained traction in the local music scene and have found themselves to be highly sought after for live performances. Since then, MFTS has taken their sound to live audiences, performing private events and venues such as: Bollocks Pub Oshawa, Ajax Convention Centre and Brooklin/Orono Fairs. With the release of their first original song Cicadas in 2024, My Friend The Skeleton has continued to show their undeniable passion for music.
