D.O.A. is a Canadian punk rock band from Vancouver. They are often referred to as being among the "founders" of hardcore punk, along with Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Angry Samoans, Germs, and Middle Class. Their second album Hardcore '81 was thought by many to have been the first actual reference to the second wave of the American punk sound as hardcore.

D.O.A. is known for its outspoken political opinions and has a history of performing for many causes and benefits. Its slogan is "Talk Minus Action Equals Zero."  The band's lyrics and imagery frequently advocate anti-racism, anti-globalization, freedom of speech, and environmentalism.  Founder Joe Keithley is also the founder of Sudden Death Records which has released music by D.O.A. and several other bands including Pointed Sticks and Young Canadians.

BÖNDBREAKR HAS BEEN deemed one of the BEST PUNK BANDS in the Live Music Capital of the World by more thaN 500 Music Industry Professionals. The band has earned multiple airplay features on the acclaimed Austin Music Minute (KUTX 98.9) with Laurie Gallardo and metal radio show Search & Destroy ( KOOP 91.7) with Lauryn Darci.

Most recently, BÖNDBREAKR has been hailed as one of the best bands to hit the Purple City Music Festival stages (September 20204) and they show no signs of stopping.

Open Eyes was formed in 2019 by Eric Budd (guitar and vocals), Leith Brownridge (bass) and John Watson (drums). This power trio is rooted in their 30 years of friendship, playing in adjacent bands in the underground Edmonton music scene.
