The vision of vianova came to life when the brothers Felix and Paul Vogelgesang decided to move to Berlin in 2014. Driven by the desire to create music and evoke emotions, they aspired to write nothing but authentic and energetic metal songs. Between 2015 and 2019 the formation released a five-track EP and two singles, played an array of shows throughout Germany and managed to handle a couple of line-up changes. During the 2020 pandemic, the band reinvented themselves both visually and musically. The EP “Looking for…”, at first released as individual singles, contains the first four tracks of this writing cycle. It was completed by its successor “...a Way Out”, released via Easthaven Records in 2023. Both EPs helped vianova to establish themselves as an upcoming Metalcore outfit and to gain the attention of an international audience. Subsequently to their frequent releases, they played additional gigs throughout Germany, among them support shows for Brand of Sacrifice, Chaosbay and Emil Bulls. In 2024 vianova signed with label powerhouse Arising Empire, celebrating their arrival with their new single „Más Rápido“. This new chapter is characterised by broad Influences such as soul, jazz, R&B, and 80‘s synths—reflecting their commitment to breaking genre boundaries. Accompanying this sonic evolution is a vibrant visual transformation, characterized by a focused and youthful energy that injects fun into a metalcore landscape often perceived as stagnant.
