Far from your grandmother’s grindcore, Abrupt Decay gladly shoves a genre-expanding take on noise into the audience’s face, leveraging a DJ to inject extra grooviness into the depths of noise. The chaotically screeched vocals often ruminate on intrusive thoughts, adding an enticingly vulnerable layer to one of Alberta’s best heavy acts.

With themes of desperation, violation, and the unrelenting resolve to survive, Truster's sound comes from a heavy place. This three piece plays crushing doomgaze that is influenced in equal parts by the absurdity of trauma, weaponized resilience, and love. Blending wall of sound, down tuned guitars, heavy, churning drums and boundless vocals that are desperate to cut through the haze, Truster’s sound incorporates elements of doom, black metal, and shoegaze.
