  • Kontravoid

    Kontravoid

    Electronic

Kontravoid’s masked mystique has remained for over a decade. Ever since the release of his self-titled LP in 2012, the Canadian-born, LA-based Cameron Findlay has perfected dark pop with a unique composition which moves eloquently through the EBM, electro and goth genres. His past releases, such as 2019’s “Too Deep” and 2021’s “Faceless,” have no trouble reaching the most derelict corners of foggy, strobe-lit clubs, leaving listeners with no choice but to dance. With an uncanny softness and unmistakable songwriting ability, Kontravoid composes heart-wrenching songs that are both captivating and drenched in melancholy – showcased on 2018’s “Undone”, which has been lauded as a fan favorite since its release.

On stage, Kontravoid demands the audience’s attention with his powerful performance, masterfully balancing his specific concoction of harsh beats and signature rhythmic bass lines. He’s toured alongside Boy Harsher, ADULT., Drab Majesty and Hide, and has remixed the likes of Schwefelgelb and Kris Baha. Truly a man of the shadows, Kontravoid is an unparalleled fixture in the dark electronic arena.
  • MELDAMOR

    MELDAMOR

    Post-Punk

MELDAMOR is the electrifying musical project of Mel and Dave Parley, a dynamic duo currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of genres including dark wave, synth-driven post-punk, classic heavy metal, and electronic music. Meldamor creates a powerful soundscape marked by intense emotion, danceable beats, and vocals that are hauntingly melodic to fiercely aggressive. Dave Parley, a multi-instrumentalist and accomplished music producer originally from Tijuana, blends his signature synths, aggressive percussion, and visceral vocal growls with Mel Parley’s evocative lyrics that delve deeply into the complexities of human emotions such as love, grief, pain, and existential uncertainty.
  • God Tongue

    God Tongue

    Electronic

Seattle-based duo God Tongue, comprised of Isku and Camille, forge a distinct sound they call Acid Body Wave—a fusion of EBM, acid-driven rhythms, and minimal wave textures. Their music is sculpted on an array of hardware synths, including the OB6, Bass Station, Access Virus, and Synthstrom Deluge. Together they unleash a seductive storm of raw, late-night dance floor energy.
  • Visitor

    Visitor

    Electro-Industrial

Visitor, founded in 2017 is a two piece Canadian act from Philip Traikovski that seamlessly combines the best elements of old school EBM with new beat. The result is something out of time yet uniquely modern. Dark frantic beats and bass lines, Visitor will take over your body.
  • Scimitar

    Scimitar

    Post-Punk

From the underbelly of glitzy, glammy Los Angeles, Scimitar unveils itself—a tantalizing darkwave trio with an inclination towards the mysterious. Drawing inspiration from the rawness and heritage of death rock’s primal roots and marrying it with the polished flair of contemporary synth-pop and post-industrial vibes, they craft a motley of emotions and tones. With their intricate arrangements and vigorous stage presence, they’re a sight, and sound, to behold.
  • DRSE

    DRSE

    Post-Punk

A Death/Wave band with members from Edmonton and Calgary that bind sequenced synthesizer elements, pointed melody, and live dark post-punk. Death Related Sensory Experience creates an intoxicating contrast to the current dark music genre landscape while maintaining exploration of introspective topics like existential panic, addiction, emotional connections, and mental health. A fresh addition to the Alberta music scene, members (Rob Lawless, Miranda Gladeau, Alejandro Gutierrez, Ryan Sadler) are seasoned and respected among the underground and skillfully produce cohesive and engaging recordings and performances. Death Related Sensory Experience holds space for connection and hope through a dark lens.
  • More Ephemerol

    More Ephemerol

    New Wave

A Los Angeles-based synth duo known for their high-energy live shows, primarily inspired by early 80's synth-pop including minimal wave darlings such as Turquoise Days, Oppenheimer Analysis, and Experimental Products, and the beginnings of new wave through acts like OMD, Human League, and Fad Gadget, with just as much lifeblood in varieties of body music and synth punk.
