Napalm Death, formed in 1981 in Meriden, England, are pioneers of grindcore, blending intense, fast-tempo, and socially conscious music with death metal and punk. Famous for the 1.3-second track "You Suffer," they have consistently released influential music, including the landmark 1987 debut Scum.
