Nova Scotia Music Week Celebrates 25 years of live music in Sydney, Cape Breton.

Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) celebrates its 25th anniversary in Sydney, Cape Breton, November 3 - 6, 2022. This will mark the event's second time in Cape Breton. Each year Music Nova Scotia brings together artists, fans, and music industry from across Nova Scotia and around the globe to experience the best talent the province has to offer.

    To commemorate the 25th anniversary Music Nova Scotia is offering a limited number of festival wristbands on sale now for $40! Festival wristbands allow access to all showcasing events at NSMW 2022, subject to capacity. Festival wristbands do not include access to the awards show or other premium access events. Limited wristbands are available for sale here until they are sold out. Regular early bird ticketing will be available later in the spring.

This event is 19 and over. Any Ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 19 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic and is extremely contagious, mainly through person-to-person contact. Federal, provincial, and local governments and health agencies recommend social distancing and have issued guidelines to limit spread of COVID-19. While measures are in place to adhere to public health guidance in Nova Scotia, Music Nova Scotia cannot guarantee that you, or any member of your party, who attends an event as part of Nova Scotia Music Week will not become infected with COVID-19.

By purchasing a ticket for an event during NSMW, you are accepting these terms and conditions and agree to adhere to any federal, provincial or municipal health and safety directives, including, but not limited to social distancing requirements, masking, and venue-specific health and safety protocols. You agree that you will follow venue protocols and safety directives.

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that exposure to or contraction of COVID-19 may result in serious injury, permanent disability or death, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending an event as part of NSMW with full knowledge of the risk that you or an individual within your group may be exposed to, or infected by, COVID-19. You agree to waive, release and hold harmless Music Nova Scotia, employees, agents, representatives, and sponsors of and from all claims, liability, actions, damages, costs or expenses arising out of or attributable to your group's attendance at an event during NSMW due to any cause whatsoever, including COVID-19.

Music Nova Scotia will abide by any policies regarding vaccination passports / vaccination status as mandated by the Provincial or Federal government. In the event the ticket holder is ineligible to attend NSMW due to such Provincial and/or Federal government policies regarding vaccination status, the ticket holder will not be offered a refund unless the event is cancelled by the organizers. The ticket holder may, however, transfer their ticket to an individual who is eligible to attend NSMW
