SEE SPOT RUN
Canadian band SEE SPOT RUN released their second album,
“WEIGHTLESS”and the first single, "Weightless" reached #9 on the rock chart; #6
on the Top 40 Chart; #5 on the all Canadian chart. The French translation, “Decoller",
reached #1 in Quebec. That title track from the CD, was certified by BDS, the
official charting organization, as being "the highest charted independent song on
the ROCK CHART since the inception of BDS”.
This year See Spot Run will be appearing in concert with cover band extraordinaire,
Orangeman, at select locations.
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters gave See Spot Run the "Breakout
Single of The Year Award". Wire Magazine gave the "Concert of the Year Award"
shortly after .
Since releasing their first album "TEN STORIES HIGH", See Spot Run has had 5
charting singles and 5 videos played on MuchMusic. The completed 6 cross Canada
tours and appeared on a multitude of Canadian and international television shows.
All sports nuts, they were thrilled to sing the anthem for a Toronto Raptors game,
perform at the pre-game warm up for the Buffalo Bills and have the song “Weightless”
played at the retiring of Wayne Gretsky’s jersey.
See Spot Run was formed in Montreal by Chris Brodbeck and Randy Bowen and
is based in Toronto today. "WEIGHTLESS", recorded in Montreal, was produced
by Gary Moffet (Sass Jordan, April Wine), mastered in New York, by Howard
Weinberg (Aerosmith, Garbage, Beastie Boys) and features a unique montage of
12 songs.
See Spot Run was the first band to launch at Toronto's Air Canada Centre.
They also launched their 4th video by playing it on the Videotron at center ice.
SEE SPOT RUN has added to their story by appearing with Bon Jovi, I Mother
Earth, The Watchmen, Big Sugar, Wide Mouth Mason, Blue Rodeo and Amanda
Marshall.
