Description
After we hosted the debut of Russian Tim and Pavel Bures at our in person/live stream from the Swamp in August 2021 we couldn't help but bring them back for their album release titled "Something More in Russian." If you've never seen Russian Tim and Pavel Bures be prepared to experience punk like you've never seen before. Enjoy high energy punk in Russian and one of the best parts is Russian Tim himself. He loves to move around and jump while he sings with his Pavel Bures.
Joining Russian Tim & Pavel Bures are The Anti-Queens from Toronto, Doghouse Rose (also from Toronto) and DTK.
The Anti-Queens are an all female punk trio on Stomp Records that have been tearing up the scene in Eastern Canada packing their own headlining shows and playing on major festivals such as Montreal 77, Pouzza Fest, Montebello Rockfest, le Déluge, Park Jam and Beau’s Oktoberfest to name some. They also recently completed a successful European tour with label mates Creepshow. We are excited to have them play in Victoria for the first time.
Doghouse Rose, also on Stomp Records are rooted in melodic punk with a hint of rock n roll. Led by Sarah Beth their vibrant melodies, thunderous rhythms, and candy sweet vocals deliver stories about chasing dreams, hard luck times and not taking life too seriously.
Finally DTK is a brand new band that are a mixture of rock with ambient, surf, jam, roots, and dub influences hailing from Victoria composed talented musicians from three Victoria global roots and funk bands. of Kurt Lowen (formerly of Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra), T-Rav the Transformer from Party On High Street and Dana Towers of Buena Buya make DTK. Note their name is temporary and we are currently trying to help them find a new one. Leading up to and at the show the band says they'll gladly take your suggestions!

The Anti-Queens have taken over the world.
Exploding out of the vibrant Toronto punk scene, the band has become one of the most-talked about acts in the business.
Their highly successful debut LP has amassed close to 300,000 streams in a short time since its release on Stomp Records. The debut single "Worse Than Death" achieved commercial success and heavy rotation on major radio stations like CHOM 97.7 in Montreal, INDIE 88.5 in Toronto, REBEL 101.7 in Ottawa and Sirius XM's The Verge, among many others. The band is currently hard at work on its follow-up album, which is being produced by Dave Baksh of Sum-41. and Steve Rizun.
The band is also developing into a touring juggernaut. From their hugely successful European tour supporting The Creepshow to their own packed headlining tours in North America, they have attracted new fans as well as their own rabid fanbase. They have also rocked crowds during their much talked-about mainstage sets at major festivals such as Montreal 77, Pouzza Fest, Montebello Rockfest, le Déluge, Park Jam and Beau’s Oktoberfest, just to name a few. They are set to star in upcoming performances at The FEST in Gainesville, Florida, as well as a Canadian tour and a headlining rip through Europe.

Doghouse Rose was built on perseverance with a smile. Coming from all different walks of life and musical backgrounds, they quickly formed a bond that shines through every time they take the stage.
Rooted in melodic punk with a hint of new wave and good old fashioned rock n roll, their vibrant melodies, thunderous rhythms, and candy sweet vocals deliver stories of chasing dreams, hard luck times and not taking life too seriously.
Pair that with their fast burning, immersive and often acrobatic live show, touring internationally and playing up to 200 shows a year, they’ve built their reputation and fanbase through genuine connection and a DIY spirit.
Performing everywhere from maximum capacity festivals to maximum security prisons, they’ve shared stages with Tiger Army, The Planet Smashers, Supersuckers, The Creepshow and Murder By Death.
Inspired by the adventures of years pounding the pavement and loaded with feel good, take on the world anthems comes “The Harder They Fall”, their first album with Stomp Records scheduled for release November 20, 2020.
