Swimming keeps it's head above water by conjuring mathy, Midwestern-emo vibes, all the way from the eastern reaches of Canada. Angular drums and noodly guitar work lay a bed for Swimming's yearning lyrics, which paint pictures of the band's upbringing and experience in Newfoundland. Their debut LP "That's OK" gained traction in 2021 with editorial nods from Spotify and Apple Music. Spending the following years touring Eastern Canada, the members of Swimming have worked diligently to shine a spotlight on the thriving music scene that they have helped cultivate in their home province. Their sophomore record "Old" releases February 21 through No Funeral & Barely There Records.

Astrology Girl is an energetic emo collective from southern Alberta. Bridging the well trodden gap between Midwest emo and Warped Tour scene punk, the band brings a nostalgic and diverse selection of songs via it's self titled EP released in June 2024. Strap in for an abundance of sad chords for mosh pit villains.  

Kevin Stebner has found a way to almost create his own genre of music, a style of Post-Hardcore those in the know refer to as "Stebnerian" - After 15 years in some of Calgary's most notable Post-Hardcore projects (Stalwart Sons, Prepared) as well as forays into Psychy-Alt-Country (Cold Water) and even chiptune (GreyScreen), Stebner (guitars/vox) has once again taken up the speed and anger of previous bands, this time delving a little deeper into power pop territory and post-punk leanings, and with a little more wry humour. With the help of David Tkach on Bass (Big Knife Little Knife, Giant Sons) and Steven Duggins on Drums (UK’s Tupolev Ghost, Fuzzy Lights), Fulfilment are that power trio you need in your life. 2025 will see the release of Fulfilment's second LP "Husky House" (recorded in the summer of 2024 with Lorrie Matheson) 10 more songs of blistering energy of guys old enough to have seen it all, but still pissed enough to not allow the cynicism to take over.
