Description
Since 2002, Tell the Band to Go Home has aired Sundays at 2 pm on 101.5 UMFM. The show focuses on great songs and those who write and sing them. Over the years, it’s been a place for local singers/songwriters to stop in for conversations and live performances to share their music and let listeners get to know them better. As a celebration of 20 years on the air, some of Winnipeg’s finest songwriters will appear for a special live episode of the show. Host Jeff Robson will chat with the artists, who will also play some songs and tell some stories. JP Hoe, Nicky Mehta (of The Wailin’ Jennys), and Keri Latimer (Leaf Rapids/Nathan) have been frequent visitors since the beginning, and all have gone on to very successful careers. Join them in this unique and intimate setting for a special celebration!
