Alternative Folk
The Deep Dark Woods
The Deep Dark Woods
Alternative Folk
Originally from Saskatchewan and now based in Southern Ontario, The Deep Dark Woods take up a deep tradition of forlorn storytelling, drawing lines from Celtic folksongs to country blues, John Fahey to Shirley Collins. Lush and devastating, Boldt’s gothic surrealism is stark in detail and full of emotion, a murder balladeer for our time.

Paul & the Feels
Paul & the Feels
Soul
Fate might be fickle but I’ve made up my mind
Paul & the Feels are a modern soul band with a 70s heart—holding nothing back, all-in from the count-in.
Fronted by singer-songwriter Paul Fuellbrandt, the Feels mine hope from the grit of the daily grind.
Every track hits with honesty and weight, driven by a working man’s soul band. Wherever they find you, Paul & the Feels will meet you—and move you.

Morning Coyote
Alternative Rock
Morning Coyote is a Canadian alternative rock project based out ofEdmonton, Alberta, founded by singer-songwriter Sawyer Begg in 2024 during histime in MacEwan University’s music program. As a performing act, Morning Coyote enlists arotating roster of musicians, typically trained inimprovisational styles, to articulate the studio tracks for a live context, such thateach performance becomes unique. These articulations vary— sometimes loud, shoegazey rock, sometimes intimate and acoustic folk-jazz, depending on the demands of the particular performance. In February 2025 Morning Coyote headlined the Starlite Room’s Temple to support their self-titled EP, performed their first festival show for Edmonton’s Hi-Light festival the following April, and headlined Starlite Room’s main stage in July to support their recentrelease, “Ozymandias,” and its accompanying music video. Begg opened solo for London act Crywank and is set to perform a UK tour next February to promote the group’s upcoming second EP.
