Description
The High Loves are back in Toronto bringing their signature high energy, anthemic, rock and roll to Lee's Palace for the 2nd show in their $5 Toronto concert series. The High Loves are ushering in a new era for the band with the release of their new EP, "All the Things You Want to Hear". Maintaining their signature catchy songwriting and high energy live performances, the band is now delving into some of their boldest, fastest and most honest music yet. with support from Weekend Goodbye and BBQ Pope, It'll be a night to remember, don't miss out!   Weekend Goodbye isn’t punk. They’re not indie. They’re not anything — and they don’t care what you call them. Dylan DG (vocals, guitar), Richard Hong (guitar, vocals), Amanda Volero (bass), and Brandon Herrell (drums) are Toronto's four-piece wrecking crew writing the catchiest, most honest rock songs you’ve heard in years. A shot of adrenaline in a world obsessed with fake perfection and hollow identity. Weekend Goodbye paints their world with the realism of a bathroom mirror. The party, the comedown, and the desperate sprint to put your life back together before you blow it up again. Their lyrics read like you’re confiding in your best friend; the one who calls you a pussy, hands you a beer, and tells you to sing louder. No bullshit. No filter. Just hits. Their 2024 EP Baby Teeth put them on the map as the next great thing to claw out of Toronto. This fall, their new singles Cash and Toronto drop like a middle finger to anyone still sleeping on them. Weekend Goodbye has sold out Toronto staples like Lee’s Palace, wrecked festivals like Side by Side Weekend and Gnarfest with shows so intense you wonder if they’ll survive the set. They’re constantly laughing, heckling the crowd, and somehow balancing stadium-show energy with the intimacy of a basement party. Weekend Goodbye is the last fucking rock n’ roll band. The next big thing. They’re not asking for your permission — they’re taking it. BBQ Pope: Formed in 2015, three-piece rock outfit BBQ Pope have become a staple of the Ontario indie/punk-rock music scene. Fusing elements of power-pop, psychedelia and indie/punk-rock to create a dynamic, ear-catching sound all of their own. With intelligent lyricism and impressive musicality, BBQ Pope delivers an unforgettably energetic, semi-acrobatic live show. BBQ Pope have released a debut album, 2 EPs, several singles. Their highly-anticipated sophomore album UNFURL was released in October, 2025!
