Description
The Tokyo MER (Mobile Emergency Room) project sends elite emergency medical teams to disaster sites in large, operating-room-equipped vehicles. The new Nankai unit is tasked with serving remote island regions in Okinawa and Kagoshima. When a volcano erupts, the devastation far exceeds expectations. Helicopter rescues are impossible due to thick volcanic smoke, and both the Self-Defense Forces and the Coast Guard are still hours away. As volcanic rocks rain down and lava advances, the team undertakes an extraordinarily mission to save the lives of 79 people stranded on the island.
An all-star cast brings the hit series to the big screen with non-stop action, heroics and entertainment.
