Casa Loma welcomes Marta Elena, a JUNO Award-winning Cuban singer, composer, and bandleader based in Toronto, recognized for her powerful voice and vibrant interpretations of Afro-Cuban and Latin American music traditions. Since arriving in Canada in 2011, she has become an important presence in the country’s Latin and jazz music scenes, captivating audiences through performances that blend Cuban roots music, jazz, salsa, bolero, rumba, cha-cha-cha, and contemporary Latin sounds.
