Hardcore Punk
UNIITY
UNIITY
Hardcore Punk
Philadelphia-raised artist UNIITY emerged in 2020, delivering a sonically aggressive and lyrically scathing sound that redefines darkpop and alternative music through an unapologetically Black lens. Her vocal performances range from singing to screaming, raging to hissing, embodying a genre-bending fusion of queer rave culture and hardcore punk. UNIITY's mission is to unify the emerging scene of independent LGBTQ+ women of color in alternative music. Her energetic performances have made her a staple in multiple music scenes, garnering attention from her Afropunk debut, Taco Bell performance, and opening on tour for artists such as LustsickPuppy. She has also shared the stage with notable figures like Alice Longyu Gao, N8NOFACE, White Ring, and Nascar Aloe. With previous support from NPR, Afropunk, and Voyage Magazine, UNIITY's discography spans sub-genres but always remains rooted in industrial dark pop. Her ability to transform sonically while staying true to her experiences as a Black woman from inner-city Philadelphia showcases her stark honesty and versatility.

Dead Fibres
Dead Fibres
Punk
Dead Fibres are a three-piece noise-punk band working out of Edmonton and Vancouver. The intricate drumming of Brandon de Gans and driving bass of Kennedy Pawluk underpins the noise drenched guitar playing of Zachary Mouallem. Infectious vocal melodies balance the instrumental chaos foundational to their sound. Since their formation in 2014, Dead Fibres have carved their space in the Canadian music community through extensive touring across the country, three full length records and an EP.
