Your favourite DJ’s favourite DJ, Yukimatsu is originally from Osaka - where he honed his craft for years alongside his day job as a construction worker. In 2014, he earned an invitation to play DJ Nobu’s Future Terror party - a turning point in his career. The year 2016 saw not only the start of his own Zone Unknown events; it was also when he was diagnosed with brain cancer, resulting in tumour-removal surgery. The diagnosis became the catalyst for him to quit his day job and focus on being a full-time DJ. Based in Tokyo since 2020, Yukimatsu’s legendary mastery of the CDJs enables mind-bending yet seamless connections of every imaginable genre. Working his way up from consistent appearances across Japan to performing at Europe’s finest avant-garde festivals and regular appearances at clubs like Berghain, his sets have to be heard to be believed.
