In 1974, Mark Breslin opened the first Yuk Yuk's, in the basement of Toronto's Church Street Community Centre. Two years and many sweaty shows later, the Yuk Yuk's flag ship was moved to 1280 Bay Street in the trendy Yorkville district. Over the next decade, Yuk Yuk's would expand to its present reach of fourteen clubs across Canada.

Zabrina Douglas is a comedian who draws from her experience as a Nurse, a mother, and the daughter of 2 Jamaican parents. "She's one of the most exuberant and cheerful stand-ups working in the city. She can turn a whole show around by kicking up the energy in the room." Steve Fisher of Torontoist.com.
Zabrina has been a regular and headlined Kenny Robinson's legendary "Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue". She Created and Produced her Critically acclaimed show "Things Black Girls Say". She has performed in well-known festivals like Just For Laughs Toronto, The Toronto Fringe Festival, Slo Comedy Festival in California and The Women's Comedy Festival in Boston. Her work can be seen on Teletoon, The Comedy Network and CBC. She has shared the stage with well-known comedians Gilbert Godfrey, Cocoa Brown and Luenell.

Ryan Dillon is an award winning stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who has quickly gained recognition from critics & peers as one of the funniest comics on the rise.After just a few months of performing stand up, Ryan was selected by industry professionals for the Tim Sim’s Fresh Meat Showcase at the infamous Second City. His first one man show “23 Nothing to Say” was sold out with rave reviews in his home of Newfoundland. His follow up, “Collapse” earned him immense critical praise with a sold out run at The Toronto Fringe Festival, winning Patron’s Pick and a nomination for a Canadian Comedy Award.
He has since gone on to be a finalist for SiriusXM’s Top Comic at JFL42, chosen for the prestigious Homegrown showcase at Just For Laughs, and earned a taping for Kevin Hart’s Laugh out Loud Network.

Max Sheldrick got his start in the Windsor and Detroit comedy scenes, where he then toured the tri-state area, quickly becoming known as one of the top up and coming comics. In 2017 he moved to Toronto where he has continued to make a solid name and reputation for himself. He’s opened for Colin Mochrie, Stavros Halkias and Gianmarco Soresi. He has performed at the Brewing for Comedy Festival, Rusty Nail Comedy Festival, Cottage Comedy festival, Toronto comedy Festival, Haymaker Festival, and The Just For Laughs Toronto festival.
