Victoria Ska & Reggae Society is proud to present a triple punk bill from East to West featuring some of the best of both that Canada has to offer. First we are excited to present the Island debut of Bad Waitress who are on Stomp Records. "Renowned for their explosive live shows, Bad Waitress channels the confrontational spirit of acts like The Stooges, Fugazi, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs while remaining unmistakably their own. Their latest single, “Loving Kind” is the first song off their upcoming album “In the Hollow”. Their new album slated for release a couple of weeks before this show! Then Mean Bikini are back after opening for Lagwagon at Victoria's 27th Annual Ska & Reggae Festival this past summer. They have been touring the country non-stop and will be playing other Canadian dates with Bad Waitress on their tour. For those of you that don't know Mean Bikini they describe themselves as 'pointed, unapologetic, viciously fun, and punishingly aggressive' Imagine hardcore and skate punk with a twist of queer rage and just the right amount of catchiness mixed with a highly energetic performance. This gives you an accurate picture of Mean Bikini. Finally we are excited to have Dirtnap on our show for the first time. Dirtnap is a Ska-Core band from Victoria BC. who mix Punk, Ska, Thrash, Reggae, Metal, & Crust. They also tour extensively and Rylan who is the band's leader hosts many amazing punk parties at the Quadra House.
