  • Magic Shoppe

    Magic Shoppe

    Shoegaze

Magic Shoppe has been a prominent figure in the Shoegaze and Psych rock scene since their formation in 2010. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like The Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine, as well as early Sonic Youth, they have crafted a distinctive sound characterized by a heavy use of distortion, reverb, and hypnotic guitar interplay. Over the past 14 years, they have released five LPs, six EPs, and one live LP, consistently delivering a wall-of-sound blend of raw Shoegaze that flirts with the outer edges of noise rock.

Magic Shoppe's new record, Resurrection Machine, is set for a vinyl and streaming release on September 12th 2025 through Little Cloud Records (US/CA) and Fuzzed Up & Astromoon Records (EU/UK), followed by tours across North America and Europe.
  • Real Sickies

    Real Sickies

    Punk

“Missing is the Real Sickies... Who, in alll my time of seeing shows, were the worst band live. Clumsy, bad front man broke his first mic. Spinning on the cord move. Then grabbed his bassist mic spilling the whole set up. Then who shot his second mic into the crowd.

Second signature move... Then threw a water bottle in the crowd in hoped crowd participation moment. bonking someone who was not looking. Cue full beer can exploding on his chest hurled from neighboring bottle victim. The show went on. Minutes later he broke a 3rd mic. Almost insult to injury he then Fell on his ass with all the mic cords.. It was like being on an episode of punk'd.

The crowd turned on them, a gory site. Disinterest to an odd band with a ramones beat and a mick jagger looking/singing frontman.
  • Shiv and the Carvers

    Shiv and the Carvers

    Punk

Incubated in the dusty warehouses of Toronto’s roller derby scene, Shiv and the Carvers have blasted their brand of roaring, queer punk rock in and around their hometown since 2022, landing them opening slots for the likes of Bif Naked, Lambrini Girls, Cam Kahin, and War on Women. Led by the lovable and explosive energy of vocalist Shiv Scott, the band’s boisterous live performances are filled with raw moments of pure sonic smut, sweat, and leopard print. With lyrics about sex, body empowerment, and shaking the current political system upside down, Shiv and the Carvers is sure to unlock your inner reprobate.
  • Ryan Bourne & the Plant City Band

Ryan Bourne & the Plant City Band

    Indie Pop

For over a decade, Calgary psych-pop wizard Ryan Bourne has lent his singular touch to some of the most compelling acts in the Canadian independent music scene, including beloved Sub Pop recording artist Chad VanGaalen, and Polaris-nominated Métis pop experimentalists Ghostkeeper. Bourne’s primary creative outpouring, however, is his solo project as a singer, songwriter, and producer. For 2023’s Plant City, Bourne recruited VanGaalen and drummer/producer Chris Dadge (Chad VanGaalen, Alvvays) to co-produce a strutting garage-pop odyssey. A lushly psychedelic rendering of his timeless pop songcraft, Plant City found itself a critical darling, ending up on many a year-end best-of list, with Aquarium Drunkard calling it “mesmerizing”. The five-piece Plant City Band brings the record to hazy, dazzling life, cementing his status as one of the most adventurous sonic architects and affecting songwriters out there.
  • Pike

    Pike

    Grunge

Grunge-gaze heros of Edmonton. Hot off a new single release with their debut full length on the way recorded by Chris Dadge in Calgary.
  • Brock Geiger

    Brock Geiger

    Alternative

Brock Geiger is a musical chameleon. Over the last decade, he has established himself as a mainstay on the Canadian scene and beyond- as a collaborator on nearly fifty records, and has toured world-wide with a long list of artists. Brock's full length debut, 'Some Nights' shines an overdue spotlight on his penchant for refined song-craft, ambitious production, and is a perfectly distilled introduction to the mind of one of Canada's most forward-thinking pop auteurs.
  • Panic Pixie

    Panic Pixie

    Alternative Rock

This energetic power trio is all girl, a whole lot of fun, and a sprinkle of sparkle. Building momentum following their January 2024 debut at The Starlite Room, this Edmonton-based group is hard at work writing some of your soon-to-be favourite pop rock tunes! They might be a new group, but they’re not new on the scene: each member brings over a decade of performance and touring experience. As recent openers for artists including Dear Rouge and The Beaches on Beaumont Music Festival’s main stage, Panic Pixie gets crowds moving by playing a mix of originals, current radio hits, and Gen Z throwbacks. With experience performing at festivals and local venues, Kat Hannah and Megan are one of your new favourite girl bands as Panic Pixie!
  • Rebel Grrrlz

    Rebel Grrrlz

    Punk

Rebel Grrrlz are a five piece Riot Grrrl, punk band. With loud vocals and powerful lyrics they're able to make a bold statement in the local, underground scene about current social issues with teenage angst.

Formed in 2023, they have already made their mark by playing 2024/2025 Sled Island Music Festival, the Calgary Stampede, as well as opening for the Avengers at the Sloth Records 30th Anniversary Party.

Their debut EP "We're Gonna Eat Your Soul" was released June 2025 and has been featured on X929, CBC, and CJSW.
