Punk
Death Cassette
Death Cassette
Punk
Death Cassette is a vocally driven grunge-punk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They give you hints of grunge with raw 90's guitars, while the rhythm section keeps the urgency of hardcore punk. Front person Amanda Sousa commands the room—closing the distance between band and audience until you are part of the performance.
Their sophomore EP "Get Rid Of It" earned national college radio attention in 2023, with “Reflector” earning a spot at the top of the Earshot Loud Charts. Look out for their best work yet with a full length album in 2026.

Punk
Minot
Minot
Punk
Let me introduce the adolescent neanderthals themselves, Minot. These overgrown-teenage garage-punk muffins bring their sonic take on the raw, the cheap and the lo-fidelity. The three-piece from Missoula, MT embodies the primitive, sloppy roots of everything that is, Budget Rock. A poorly contained train wreck influenced by punk, 60's garage-pop and country blues.

Indie Rock
Crystal Eyes
Crystal Eyes
Indie Rock
CRYSTAL EYES is a Calgary-based indie dream-rock band whose sound exists at the intersection of synth-heavy new-wave goth, shoegaze, and psych rock. Led by Erin Jenkins, the band has recently undergone a creative transformation with Jenkins moving away from guitar to focus on synth, resulting in a dual-synth configuration that has evolved their sonic identity, bringing new depth, texture, and atmosphere to their music while preserving the emotional immediacy that has always defined the project.
Their forthcoming 2026 album captures this new era in full force. Produced by Andrew Woods and mixed by Grammy-winner Mark Lawson, the record was created during marathon sessions at OCL Studios that often stretched 16 hours at a time — fuelled by obsession, coffee, leather jackets, and blistered fingers. The result is a bold, immersive body of work that balances shadowy new-wave moods with psychedelic urgency and dream-pop shimmer. With their most ambitious work yet on the horizon, the band continues to push its creative boundaries while cultivating a deeply atmospheric and emotionally charged listening experience.

Alternative Folk
His His
His His
Alternative Folk
His His is the recording project of Halifax-based artist Aidan Belo, combining elements of indie rock and folk, coupled with low-fidelity analog production which creates something that sounds honest and melancholic. ‘25 is a four song EP recorded in the empty space of an old wood barn on his family’s farm which has been temporarily converted into a makeshift studio, where everything is recorded entirely to 1⁄4” tape and cassette.

Lovelet
Lovelet
Indie Rock
Lovelet released their debut album in 2018 —the patient pop statement Couple's Fight Night— and have since performed across Canada, opening for acts like Marika Hackman, and Headliner/Festival Curator Bartees Strange (Sled Island 2023). Their sophomore album Freedom River Float is set for release in April/May of 2026, with the first 2 singles of the record 'Whistling' and ‘Leash’ released September 2024 and May 2025.
