The 1975 religious experience that was his first Led Zeppelin concert changed musician Michael White's life forever. He's been playing their music in more than 8,000 shows since 1977, however, it was in 2010 that he expanded on that religious aspect and thought how appropriate it might be to perform Led Zeppelin in a church. His choice of venue was inspired by the Led Zeppelin title, Houses of the Holy. Since then Michael White and The White have played in dozens of churches across Ontario. White recalled in a recent interview, "I was thinking, 'Wouldn't it be cool to play in the Houses of the Holy? Wouldn't it be cool to sing Stairway to Heaven in a church?"  On Saturday, August 10, 2024 Led Zeppelin’s music will echo through the high cathedral ceilings of one of Parry Sound's 'Houses Of The Holy', when Michael White & The White bring 'An Evening of Led Zeppelin' to St. James United Church (Mary St. Centre), 24 Mary St., Parry Sound. The show will  feature two hours of Led Zeppelin's greatest hits as well as select deep cut tracks from their eight legendary studio albums.  Don't miss this unique concert presentation.
